Hainan Island is the prime location to kitesurf in China. The island is commonly known as the “Hawaii of China” as there is an abundance of golden sandy beaches, lush tropical palm trees and clear blue waters all around. The main season for kitesurfing is from March through to June and most kite surfers tend to flock to a little town on the South East coast called Boao. During the main season the winds are pretty consistent ranging from 15-22 kts each day and on occasions even having some +25Kts days. Most days are blessed with glorious sunshine with temperatures averaging 32°C.

Huin Ning Kiteboarding is located at Boao, it is a quaint little town with very little tourism during the main kite season. It is around a 1h30 min taxi ride from Haikou airport or 20 mins drive from the nearest train station at Qionghai. At our location, we provide kitesurfing lessons, equipment rental, overnight storage, kite shop, restaurant, showers, compressor pump, beach assistance and chill out areas. We are situated directly at the beach set inside a wonderful garden area.
